I would be more concerned about the backers for the 'design and construction' of the car--given the current issues about its homologation. |

I can imagine it now:
Dear Mr Birrane One of our drivers accidentally rearranged one of our swans at this weekend's test. Please could we have another ugly duckling to transform? Yours sincerely David Richards |

This all may prove to be a test of the concept that the pound is thicker than water...or something.

Dave Richards interview in Autosport says that tub is written off, as it was a 13g hit...
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/73628 Dear Lola. One new DBR12 tub please. Deliver next day to HTTP Paul Ricard, or within the week to Prodrive Banbury. Love. |

Surely they'd budget for a new tub at some point in the season, perhaps just not quite this soon..

Hopefully Enge didnt cause that crash, he has an unlucky trackrecord in that area.

Sounds almost like the last time he smashed a AM at Le Mans. He needs to learn that limit, thats what differentiates the good endurancedrivers from the brilliant ones.

Hmm, I thought that the 3rd car was the other Charouz car from last year with the "AMR" body panels affixed. Is there any news on how bad the tub is? Is it a definite write-off? Or can it be repaired?
