An article on the ACO site says Lucchini provided the necessary paperwork to the ACO before the Test day (thus allowing the car to run that day), but told the ACO on June 6th that those documents are no longer valid and new documents wouldn't be forthcoming until after inspection of the car at Lucchini's workshop.

What a mess between Lucchini and Racing Box! I don't think we'll see them at Le Mans for a long time especially if they've angered the ACO.
Great to see the second Epsilon in! Yes!! Especially with that driver line up in the car. Now we have to see how the car holds up in the race. |

Wonder if Racing Box wish they had entered with the Saleen...what a mess this is though, and a shame...
Its a good looking car, shame it doesn't go as well as it looks... |

The second ee is great news, and the driving squad is awesome... but I feel sorry for whoever's fault it wasn't with the Lucchini. That was a proper 'underdog' wagon, and I'll always support those.
was anyone else goalhanging with a second car, or did ee have advanced knowledge of what would happen, I wonder? |

I don't think there's much doubt that EE knew what was going on - you don't prepare to that level of readiness when you don't think its going to happen......

On DSC it says that EE had taken the 2nd car back to their HQ in Spain to strip down to use for parts. They were told at 6pm last night that they were in.
I get the feeling that this is a story that will only really come out in full in years to come! |

Where is the car now?
Le Mans or Spain, if its the latter, given most of Spain is on strike moving anything by road could be a problem. |

I don't blame Racing Box either - and after reading this - http://www.planetlemans.com/2008/06/...their-forfait/ I blame them even less...
Somehow I doubt we have heard the last about this... |

Very blatant as well. Cant see how they thought they would get away with it and await the other side of the story with interest.
This is going to run on for a while I think. |
