Thank you Eric.
Still a good point of view on the track, but some garages will be hidden from several grandstands. |

Any updates on how track work has proceeded or do we have to wait until the test day weekend to see how things overall have turned out?

Who knows? I'm sure the circuit is still up to the standard we expect

Vanthoor is not happy, with the new Porsche Curves run off.

Blame the ACO--they own the track though I'm sure that the FIA tried to pressure the ACO on some of the changes.

Is that a common sentiment among drivers to blame FIA for everything or doesn't Vanthoor just know who owns the circuit and organizes its events?

The circuit is safer and some drivers complain against that. I don't understand them.

Visit it in the old atmosphere before they start building. I like climbing the grandstand during practice. |

They could also be making the pits larger so the 46 new garages take up the same space as the current number (60?).
For the 24hrs teams could then run 2 cars from one garage (or 3 cars from a conjoined pair). |

So this is a redevelopment rather than knocking it down and starting again?
Hope the Starship Enterprise remains. |

Seems like a heck of a lot of money to spend just to enlarge the hospitality area and move the press room, maybe something has been lost in translation?
