How about Idec finishing 6th! What a race by that team, not giving up after the troubles early in the week.

A great race in the end, so much better than we could have expected and the last 2 hours were eventful to say the lest.

Some real excitement in the final hour, but aside from that, the race really felt like it was being run to a set of rules which have outstayed their welcome.
I'll miss the speed of these spaceships, but looking forward to having something a little less boom and bust. |

Or not? RLM said GT is treated as 1 class, and the GTE-Ams tqke points away for the Pro cars. That would leave the #91 as 10th point scorer with 2x 1 points and the #92 with nothing at all

Damn, all that with for the 88 resulted in an NC finish. That sucks, not enough laps completed at only 61%

It was a very strange edition!!! Here we could go along the track on the Hunaudières straight ( and not Mulsanne straight!!!!!) when during a normal edition we are not allowed to go! Interesting.............Very intensive end of race, see you here next year!

I believe that all classified finishers get .5 of a point below 10th? So the #92 gets one point for LM. |

RLM said both in multiple occasions so I'm not sure they truly know either way. I would guess because it's the WEC you'd score points not against the teams you're racing against because why would that make sense. They don't do the same for the prototypes but it's the FIA and points make zero sense

Completed 24 hours? Not yet you haven't!
Cross your fingers for your favourite teams as they navigate the choppy waters of post-race technical inspections... |
