It sounds like they are getting that in race experience by bringing on a team to run the actual operations rather than in house

I wonder who are those 4 teams interested by the IF project (GB, DE, IT & CH)?

These guys are going to do WEC instead of F1, yes? Would love to see a Honda on the grid.

So I thought when Alpine bought some old Rebellions that the end goal was they were making a Hypercar. But now the Rebellion is going away but there's no Alpine Hypercar?

This is the longest build up to a factory program ever.

Are they building a hypercar or an lmdh? Could be supply chain lead times that have pushed the project to 24. Or maybe they didn't start right away with the planning? |

So this was what Graham teased on TWISC, good work here from all sides. I'll be honest; Vector was quite far down the list of teams in my mind for this partnership, but more power to them and Isotta Fraschini. I still think 2024 would be more realistic,
So that's AF Corse, CGR, Joest, JOTA, Iron Lynx, Penske, Proton, Signatech, WRT, WTR & Vector all with factory deals for LMH/GTP. It feels like we'll run out of teams for the manufacturers to partner up with soon! Meanwhile, at United Autosports... |

It was mentioned before that the potential team partners came with some financial backing of their own. Did Ryan Cullen provide a chunk of Vector's funding this year?

The 2024 Alpine project is an Oreca LMDh.

Indeed, https://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/...-accelerating/
Also, expect a few more privateer Porsches in '24: https://www.dailysportscar.com/2023/...s-in-2024.html |

Have any other manufacturers committed to releasing customer cars? I guess Cadillac already have with AXR. Lamborghini's GT model has been customer focused.
Will that continue in Hypercar/GTP? Glickenhaus will sell you a car, for sure. Having 6 Porsches running in every race significantly improves the chances of a Porsche winning... Not Acura, it seems. https://sportscar365.com/imsa/iwsc/n...ura-lmdh-cars/ Last edited by Mike E; 2 Jan 2023 at 14:49. |

Good to see Porsche reiterate that stance. It was mentioned quite a few months ago but glad to see they'll hopefully stick with it. It will force other manufacturers to make more cars available.

I’m sure Ferrari might lease their cars at some point. Maybe even current cars

Yeah, you have to assume those cars are already sold to chosen collectors with more to come.
