At the other end of the grid, I'm delighted that Matt Jackson is back and the deal was not left until the last minute. Hopefully he can put in a good title challenge this year.

Great to have Mat Jackson, I just hope he hasn't missed the boat in terms of winning the title. He is definitely at his peak ATM, but all depends on how the car goes, how quickly AJ gets up to speed in the other car and whether he can get the better of the likes of Neal, Flash, Plato and Turkington among others

PMR have stated on social media they also have a spare car to be built available if required. I really hope Motorbase can hit the ground running and take the fight to BMR and WSR. The Focus looked really quick towards the end of last year, and Jackson and Jordan are hardly slouches.

(It would be churlish to mention I wish they were running Mondeos instead of Focuses, I suppose.)

I doubt he has the budget for Eurotech maybe PMR have retained him. Ironically James Cole has also posted a tweet similar to Newshams so maybe same team.

I still think the way they treated Hawken was very shoddy, and quite honestly put me off them. It's a shame because the Paras are a wonderful bunch, and don't deserve to have their proud name associated with that team.

Did Dave not race legends against Simon years back? I could be wrong, but I think they know each other from those days. He's a race winner as well and perhaps a half Coffeedrops/Norscott Vending half Handy/Webb/Karcher deal could suit both parties...

James Cole will be in a BMR Subaru for 2016. Interesting, obviously Aron Smith now has to find a drive (although we all knew that), perhaps it will be him in the 3rd Eurotech Honda?
