Apparently Ferrari will support any decent effort, so that isn't the problem. They just need the teams to pony up the dough themselves, you can't blame them for that after all the racing they already do.

So, after the race I had a short chat with Stef Dusseldorp, asking him about the win and what it means, and some other stuff about his racing: http://www.gt-report.com/2017/07/16/...e-nurburgring/
What I liked the most is when just before the start I walked into him and he said things were feeling good, they might actually take that first win today and that would mean a lot to everyone. But no overconfidence. |

You've got a good knack for telling a story that doesn't just involve the black and white facts of what happened during the race, you're good at putting a human face on it so that's what I enjoy reading your stuff.

Thanks Rich! There are far better writers for play-by-plays. Who would care anyway about my play-by-play reports if I'd come in as firehose eleven?
Here's more of the human side of racing. Interview with Christian Krognes about his fight with Romain Dumas and the upcoming Spa 24h: http://www.gt-report.com/2017/07/22/...ce-these-guys/ |

I did an interview with Renger van der Zande, who finished fourth but was a key player in the early phase of the race and reveled in the rain: http://www.gt-report.com/2017/08/24/...then-you-dont/

Our now annual trip to the VLN - for the Rowe 6 Hours. Loads of SP9 photos here - working through a few from the other classes shortly. Have bitten the bullet and booked for N24 next year - early date might mean skis requried ! |

Unfortunately although sportscar racing has fully embraced streaming, it doesn't make a very good job of making it easy to find. I'll be doing my best to change that in 2018.
Full race can be watched here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUQonFWElBI |

That BMW isn't the 2018 car, it's the 2016 model with evo parts, not the final evo kit. |

Thanks for your information. No wonder that car it's nothing special as compared to the 2017 model with Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M6. And it's not very competitive as 2018 model. Rather they enter that race it's just for testing for the evo kit. As for final evo kit for the BMW M6, they might participate the VLN 8 race in 7 October like Lexus RC F GT3. http://www.vln.de/en/season/2017/201...ossapreis.html |

They just drove around for testing purposes, no real intention of racing. It's still cheaper than renting the whole Nordschleife for yourself.
Here's my VLN6 report: http://www.gt-report.com/2017/09/06/old-and-new/ I'll have a couple of interviews and the gallery coming up as well. |
