I may have missed this, but are the Eurotech Civics the same spec as the Dynamics cars?

On another note as we are putting the cat amongst the pigeons today, James Cole to BMR in the 4th Subaru & Dan Welch to appear in a Ford Focus, from the same source I heard the Neate Honda rumour
Good shout on Cole to BMR, now if Welch turns up in a Focus I will bow down to you sir!

I'm liking BMRs answer to Andy Neate at Dynamics. Good signing from their point of view I say.

Yes, recent Honda article somewhere says they are all the same apart from Simpson who is running last year's car, although each team will run different settings.

we have no idea where that TBL vent

it could be a complete new team we didn't hear anything about, or some rumors suggest a 3rd PMR Chevy

So Aron Smith gets thrown under the bus.
Guess that's what happen when Plato rules the roost.

well who knows, Plato being an RWD a little love tap can ruin your whole weekend easy

imagine if Plato will be spun in Race 1 and there is no shortage of drivers willing to give it to him....

Yeah, but it may work out better for Aron in the long term, rather than being a no.3 driver At BMR he has the chance to be a number 1 elsewhere.

To be fair, I'd imagine most of us would (unfortunately) do the same. Jason is a brand, a fantastic driver and probably one of the most impressive businessmen on the grid. If JP - as the teams main asset - didn't want him, then it wouldn't make sense for Aron to stay. For his own sake as much as anything.

We could, of course, all be wrong. Aron's a very good driver - if a bit hotheaded at times - and would be a fairly solid No.1 driver at another team...

The thing is, he has history of this with BMR. He came together with Menu at Snett in 2014 as well. If you don't help you team mates, the even worse offence is to come together with a team mate. His time at BMR was never going to last.

Good point, I forgot about that.

I like Aron a lot, but he can be immature at times. Hopefully a stint as a trusted No.1 somewhere else will do him good.

It's been a while for some Plato slagging off. Smith good driver and a nice person everytime I've met him and makes effort with fans and kids the future of btcc but no need for not being a team player when your not gaining anything at end of season when your team mate can win title

Eventually sh*t floats to the surface as in this team. Terrible management and very unfriendly. Don't blame Infinity leaving after removing hawken. Mr gow should remove them from the grid.

I still think the way they treated Hawken was very shoddy, and quite honestly put me off them. It's a shame because the Paras are a wonderful bunch, and don't deserve to have their proud name associated with that team.

Did Dave not race legends against Simon years back? I could be wrong, but I think they know each other from those days. He's a race winner as well and perhaps a half Coffeedrops/Norscott Vending half Handy/Webb/Karcher deal could suit both parties...

Well out of all drivers not signed for this year excluding ex-champs he's arguably the best available to 888, they said they wanted a 'young' line-up, so could see him alongside Sutton or Cook if Cooks not at PMR.

So with 8/9 seats left to be confirmed, Welch will be in their car, if SOPR make it Palmer Jr. will be driving, leaves MG, 888 with 2 (maybe 3 seats), then AmD, Handy & Eurotech with 1! We know Hunter Abbott, Aron Smith, Dave Newsham, Jake Hill, Andy Wilmott & Richard Hawken are working to be on the grid, rumours that Jack Clarke, Robb Holland, Paul Hollywood and Ash Sutton are possibles, any others from the last few years or anyone new to the championship?

I've had a quick flick through some old programmes and Newsham and Belcher did cross swords in Legends in 2006 and 2007.

Good man. Of course it's merely silly season putting 2+2 together and making Newsham...Probably...
