Do these Minis have normal fuel tanks instead of a racing fuel cell? Can't remember seeing a spray of fuel like that in motorsport for many years. Looked like too much to be a fuel line.

I expect the wheel which got ripped off and dragged underneath the car damaged the fuel line. Swings and roundabouts. Personally I'd still prefer my fuel lines under the car than inside.

Neate hit the back of Boardley at the exit of Cobb then sharply turned into him at the next corner. It was so clear,
Some people are saying that Neate was simply trying to get back the racing line......oh dear |

Playing devils advocate could it be that there was steering damage after the first hit? Even after the 2nd hit the car was still going left rather than turning back to the track.

Second red flag in as many races... Juniors going mad, only about 10 cars left I think!

That may be a factor. You'd have to be willing to accept that there were two hits first....

Absolutely, he's gone from New Andy Neate to that idiot who used to throw cars into the scenery with gay abandon.
WTF was he trying to do with Carl Boardley? In race 2 had someone stuck magnets to the other cars back bumpers? To the pace car driver: please watch out for red missiles in race 3. |

Which took just the 1 lap. Neate was with him for a whole lap before the incident, so I ask again, why would he have waited so long if it was retaliation for Boardley having pushed him off onto the grass in the opening laps?

If PMR weren't scoring points then Austin and Bushell would have zero points as would the team.

Given the driver is Andy Neate, and by that I mean not as good as others, I am prepared to believe he cocked up and that it was not deliberate.

Harry King is brilliant... but is he really that good to have such an advantage? Just driving round the outside of everyone. Things don't seem quite... equal.

Not to be mean to the rest of the grid, but the standards aren't exactly high. King is above the level of all the others.

Well King actually had a new set of tyres for that race, for all the good that did him...
Not sure there’s any unfair advantage that King has, don’t see how you’d get it past Porsche who are ridiculously strict and Team Parker are a very experienced, respected team. Although after Knockhill Webster did post a little bit of a cryptic tweet. https://twitter.com/joshjwebster/sta...470087681?s=21 |

same issue again, it becomes really boring after the first 3 or so laps and nobody passes unless there are serious mistakes
