It could do with being wider, for the high narrow cockpit to balance out.
pretty little thing, though. |

Anyone with an open car should pack up and go home, know one's going to be interested in them, lol.
Coupes are were it's at. This Dome reminds me of some of the 3.5 cars, the Nissan, Konrad and that Momo sposnored one. Last edited by JAG; 10 Mar 2008 at 16:25. |

But what a great looking car it is! Great to see another coupe era being born. I do hope these cars keep advancing in shape and aerodynamics. Forcing any kind of styling restrictions, with the noses for example, will devaluate the merit of them in the future imo. What was then has been, time for the new stuff! |

'cos maybe the car is not as ready as they would like to show to the public and they need to show something as it is the only new car (excluding Tokai University project) that yet to show its existence. (Sebring is this week after all).
I sent the link in an earlier post as none of those photos are of real cars yet any outsider would believe that they were real cars being photographed. |

The car is being presented to the press in the next day or two.

I am going to have to say that these look like real photos (of an attractive car) to me too. Fit and finish, as was mentioned above, suggests a bona fide vehicle. Pending press presentations similarly reinforces this.
Glad to see the coupes back, though I like the mix between styles if both can be competitive. Variety is the spice of life; that is the ethos that attracts me to sportscars in the first place. |

It is nice looking...probably the best of the coupes. FWIW, I would have the following ranking: 1) Dome, 2) Pug, 3) Epsilon and 4) Lola in that order. |

The picture comparison is really quite interesting. I agree that the cockpits make them all look ungainly. The lola seems to be the odd one out visually. |

Question ..... Both the Dome and the EE are using the same Judd GV5S2 . Can someone please explain why the exhaust pipe is a greater bore on the Dome .... I cant think why . Thanks .

Then how does the exhaust exit "through" the bodywork if the hole is smaller ?
Im sorry nightstalker , but your explanation doesnt sound correct to me . You would want the exhaust to exit "through" the bodywork . |

Could just be slightly different tuning of the exhaust. What works for one team might not work for the other.

as u can see in the comparison picture .. the EE has a piece of silver bodywork which doesn't look carbon fiber covering most of the exhaust ..

If they are still waiting for the gearbox, it is possible that there is no engine in the car either. The exhaust seen in the picture could be there to give the right look to the photo but may not be the one that they would use. Shame they did not have a pic of the engine bay.
Without the gearbox; however, would imply that the rear end of the car is supported by some temporary brackets (or the gearbox casing). |
