Oh and thunderstorm alerts for all in the US is 50 knots, that's a NOAA rule not some we think we're special state rule. Come back when Sebring has a hurricane through it and talk about your winds again |

I gotta run to the hardware store to get back in time for the start. Will be doing some work and following on and off all day. Hope it's a good one and everyone enjoys!
Speaking of enjoying....it's going to be 90 degrees F (32 C) today. Wowzers. |

So live timing for IMSA is working the same way WEC was, just with a different source.
https://livetiming.alkamelsystems.com/imsa works fine enough, if you have the timing71 beta Chrome Extension installed, then opening this link in chrome will display a button in the upper right to open the more detailed feed that allows you to sync up timing to your stream of choice. |

#01 in the pits after one lap. Mechanics crawling round the rear end.
Edit - That's ... eight cars with issues inside 20 minutes. Sebring strikes hard. Last edited by J Jay; 19 Mar 2022 at 14:28. |

For anyone who laments the demise of reliability factoring into endurance races - this is the race for you.

Leaders are lapping same as Toyota general pace. Unless lmdh is way heavier or have less aero, they're going to be about a second a lap faster next year. Which hypercars should also find similar pace over 12 months.

Great day for a race .... comfortable temps, no sunburn ... I sincerely wish I was trackside ..... crazy confusion with breakdowns and screw-ups ... Pipo Derani cruising around blissfully ahead of all the chaos ..... Best news opf the race? Risi is leading GTD Pro.

Unfortunately lmdh will be about 100kg heavier than actual dpi but more powerful, 600hp vs 630+40hp. Despite IMSA could use its own bop, it's really unlikely next year lmdh/gtp could be as fast as dpi. |

Also .... for all the chaos, all the spins .... No FCY so far. IMSA race control has really upgraded.

I see Jose Maria Lopez has learned his lesson from yesterday .... Oops .... nope ... as he drives across the dirt to pass a P2 while chasing Ricky Taylor ...... Most drivers tend to notice when they end up inverted .... and tend not to want to risk wrecking a car (and potentially ending his own race, if not the race in general .... )

Good thing is this yellow has taken almost about as long as the F2 race, so not so boring.

http://imsaradio.com/index.php/live-video/ supposed to be available? |
