Sidewayz should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
And $158,000+tax for a TLX in kit form.

Is the Tulloch VE $185 +GST or incl. GST?

What an existing team spent to build their own, or have somebody build it for them is irrelevant. The kit price for every thing including rivets nuts and bolts is $205,000 plus gst. so anything more than $25K to put the whole car together and paint the outside panels etc is frankly over the top.
remind me what $230k +GST equals

C'mon Joe you should know better than that! yes there will be GST on the purchase at 15% but it is companies that buy them (or the purchase will be put thru the company books) so the GST is written off, or it offsets their GST obligation depending on the purchases and monies received.

All businesses just look at the price excl gst as that is what they will effectively pay for the product/service.

Interesting stuff Sidewayz. So the flat-pack TLX is just shy of $160k, and I am assuming from your post that the price will include which ever engine you want?? (i.e. TRD, LS3 or coyote). So if we add lets say 25k for the build (maximum and based of Marks projections) then we come up with the same price as Inky's car - $185k. But I do find it hard to believe that the Toyota will cost the same as the Holden and the Ford, unless of course they (whoever 'they' are) make more profit on some models, and less on others.

Does anyone know the engine costs for the three models?

Sorry STFan I should have been clearer. That price was for a Holden using 14k worth of dry dumped LS3. I think the coyote is roughly the same price, if anything slightly darer. As for the TRD I would assume its more again being what it is.

it was actually in reference to Goats post about the $260k pricetag.
competitor (not car owner) will claim on Facebook it's a $260k car, but car owner will claim $230K +GST. exactly the same price, aye

Thanks for the info Sidewayz

And Joe, point taken mate

I must say the Falcon is starting to look a bit aged and the Taurus does look pretty good, especially the front end, so yeah lets hope we see that and the VF in whichever series you choose to watch, soon as
