It is great to have an old British brand resurrected and if the initial optimism around maximising the grid (capped at 26) comes to fruition then I can see the championship having some good racing. Bring on 2025! |

I don't mind the looks, in the end it doesn't matter as much as long as the racing is good
The £78,500 price tag is seriously steep though. Compare that to the latest iteration Renault Clio at £41,606 or the Ginetta Junior new at £45,000 and I can see it being a challenge to fill the grid unless there's enough kids with rich dads waiting to have a go |

For comparison, I’m sure a new Ginetta junior car came in at about £45k at the top end…. These were always gonna be more than that given their bespoke nature, but that’s an eye watering cost for a junior series. |

The looks of the car aren't that important, even though I'm not keen.
The cost is concerning though - £78.5 k +VAT, and that's before spares or anything else. When a Ginetta G40 Junior can be picked up 2nd hand for ~£20-25 k and a new one for £40-50 k ish, the running costs for the TOCA junior series will need to be much lower, or I really can't see the attraction. I hope they can get good numbers, but it might be a struggle. |

That thing is HIDEOUS. I really thought they’d just use the new FIA tc junior regulations & base the car on an actual roadcar.

Well, the car looks ridiculous, no doubt about it, and the costs will not be particularly low.... Anyway, will keep my fingers crossed and hope the championship serves its purpose.

Farrrrr too expensive! When a TCR car is capped at 139kEuro (£118k), and it will hold its value more and can be raced in more series - it makes the TOCA Junior car a tough sell...

Seems to be a bit of a theme with everything TOCA related at the moment. Costs are rising and rising fast to be on these grids.

A season in F4 is ballpark 300-350k+ depending on the team
