Erki has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Yes I felt that I had question about why aren't they on separate cars but ok I'll shut up now.

I actually can't believe that there wont be any live coverage whatsoever on Brit Eurosport. I've been watching Le Mans on Eurosport since 1998 and having to make to without a video feed this year is probably going to kill me.

*Incredibly miffed*

On a positive note, at least I don't have to listen to Tony Delahunty, he took over from Martin Haven at the French WTCC and i swear to God, I'm pretty sure that when anything happened, no matter how minute or unimportant it was, he'd have a full blown orgasm about it, whilst also getting the names of whoever was involved completely wrong. I think he is the worst commentator I have ever heard, even worse than the blokes Channel 5 had doing UEFA cup matches that no-one in this country cares about... and that's pretty bad.

P.S Hello everyone!

I suspect the argument in favour of RLM (which I'm assuming is going to be on 0157) and the Motors picture feed is going to end up being overwhelming. To be fair, I ended up warming to Tony Delahunty during the Mid-Ohio coverage, but equally at time there and at Houston I think I'd genuinely have been better informed without any commentary at all (even with the ALMS' dreadful on-screen graphics).

I'll deffo have RLM on the whole weekend non-stop, it's a must and I always do, but its just a shame that I can't actually watch the race, since I only have the basic NTL digital channels. To make things even more frustrating though, my dad is considering getting sky digital very soon but I don't think I'll have it quite in time for Le Mans! Blahhhhh.

For those in the US and other places able to receive Speed (used to be Speedvision before NA$CAR took over), click HERE for the schedule.

An interesting note: from 02h00 -> 05h00 (Eastern) they will be using Radio Le Mans' audio feed.

I agree, Shotteh, on Delahunty: the French WTCC round was the first ever race(s) I watched with the sound down. A creepy experience I never want to go through again.

On the picture quality side, the Le Mans news clips seem OK quality....no better or worse than ALMS. I am pleased about this, I was fearing blocky Lego-vision that MotosTV often produces (although it is less frequent these days, WSBK is the only real major offender and that is blocky on Eurosport anyways).

Just a reminder that there is a half hour programme on Motors TV tonight scheduled for 19:00 UK time with highlights from last Sunday's Test Day.

Just finished watching Motors TV's coverage of the LM test days and Ive got to say it is defintely worth watching. Picture quality is pretty good too IMO, probably on a parr with Eurosport.

Viewers in Ireland who do not have Sky can still watch the 24hrs on Setanta Sports (on Cable but also available on Sky) but I think if you have sky you will be either watching on MotorsTV or listening on GlobeCast 0157..

Can't get Motors TV in Moscow. Is there any info on other channels that might show it?

www.dailysportscar.com announced yesterday that the commentators/pit reporters for Motors TV's coverage will be Martin Haven, David Leslie, Mark Cole, Carlton Kirby, Tony Delahunty and Diana Binks. Sounds like a very strong team IMO, great job by Motors TV to get all these great motorsport personalities together for the big race.

Quite. Err....

Anyone watch the scrutineering today? I quite enjoyed it, some good chit-chat with various drivers. The excellent Martin Haven (who I'm sure had a lot more hair when I last saw him) doing the business alongside some French(?) dude.

Only gripe was the slightly irritating English voiceover for foreign interviews, but it is unavoidable.

MotorsTV, I am very grateful!

Sky+'d it and watching now.

Enjoyable to have on in the background, some of the interviews are very good.

Everything seemed to run quite smooth, even got used to the French to English translation.

Picture quality also seems to be an improvement over recent shows.

BTW, whys Simon Pegg presenting, lol.

Now, I wonder if Le Mans 2007 will be in High definition.

I don't suppose any pubs will be showing Qualifying live in London, with this World Cup thing on at the same time.

I've had some success getting publicans to change the channel on the TV when it is quiet, but against the World Cup I don't think I stand much chance.

Ive just noticed that Player are showing live coverage of this years Le Mans 24hrs, the commentry team is the same as that of what we get for FIA GT. Great to see Le Mans getting this much coverage in the UK, the last time I remember Le Mans being on 2 channels live was in 2003 when Channel 4 showed some of the race live as well as Eurosport.
