I don't blame you. I couldn't find it at first then it appeared on a page that I was 100% sure I checked before. The new website is clearly based on the backend of the old one (which never worked right), just prettier and less functional.

I am going to check al-Kamel for Real live timing. WEC gets stupider each year.
But hey ... Toyota much faster than Porsche? |

Both Toyota's have an ideal lap in the 1.39.9s. Porsche has a best ideal lap of 1.40.7.

Off to a good start: Aston Martin 1-2 in opening practice
Not good: Ferrari. Sits 8th, 9th, 12th, and 13th from a GTE field of 13. |

well.... lmp2 pace was good enough to be competitive for the whole WEC 2012 pole; toyota pace is simply insane....

Looks like my fears about the p2's being on the heels of the p1's (aside the CLM) were unfounded. Those laps are the best ever for an lmp1 around Silverstone, by quite some margin!

According to their own rules, these values (fuel flow) should be locked in. A 1:38.2 is 1.3 seconds faster than the best lap ever, which was Porsche in 2015's qualifying- 1:39.5... These guys aren't hanging about. Hopefully Porsche is closer in the race because that's a Toyota whitewash up front.

Is this the thread for the ELMS race too? If so, I'd feel pretty annoyed if I was JMW. The balancing of the old to new cars is terrible.

That's a tough one. They've done something like 4 30-hour tests so I think they might not get the reliability wish. But it's always something that happens in these races.

I'm starting to think so. They were close in FP1, but in FP2 Toyota firmly took command. It'd probably be even worse if Audi were still around. Even with Andre Lotterer, probably the best LMP1 driver of his generation, Porsche look a bit screwed. Even the best in the business can only do so much if the equipment isn't up to snuff.

Also per SC365, the ACO have asked Silverstone management to move advertising boards near the Maggots/Becketts complex.

Too right as well, was stood there today and to block the best viewing spot on the circuit for advertising hoardings was ridiculous, I pay to see the whole circuit not part of it
