AgustÃ*n Canapino, MartÃ*n Ponte and Federico Alonso won the Buenos Aires 1000 km. Mind that Canapa drove 117 out of 178 laps.
The race had a duration of 5 hours 35 minutes, with an average speed of 180 km/h. Mauro Giallombardo was the checker flag waver. |

Racing legend Juan MarÃ*a Traverso drove a (non Super) TC2000 car and a Formula 2.0 Pirelli by Renault at the new San Nicolás racetrack (he's from nearby Ramallo).
Next weekend, the Súper TC2000 will visit Termas de RÃ*o Hondo. Meanwhile, the TC Pickups will debut at La Plata with a 60 km race. |

Watched most TC2000 races this season. Really like this series.
Not sure the co-drivers in the 100 millas race make much sense. |

TC Pick Up racing action (Youtube video)
Fun to watch, cars are able to race close. It's a way to get Volkswagen, Toyota and other brands involved who cannot take part in the regular TC series. |

Mauro Giallombardo drove a kart at Zárate.
The Turismo Carretera race at la Pedrera had just 35 cars (the least since 1995), and the TC Pista had just 25 cars. At the Buenos Aires 200km, Toyota's duos will by MatÃ*as Rossi / José MarÃ*a López, Julián Santero / Santiago Urrutia, Damián Fineschi / Lucas Colombo Russell, and Manuel Luque / MartÃ*n Chialvo. |

Ardusso/Altuna have won the Buenos Aires 200km. A lot of coupes de theatre with Canapino, Pernia and Rossi out of contention: brakes problem for Canapino (with Vivian at the wheel), gearbox for Pernia (a few laps after leaving the car to Fontana) and engine for Rossi.
Ardusso is the new leader of the championship. |

And also Super TC2000 is heading towards new regulations according to which four-cylinder turbo engines will replace V8s. It is to happen in 2021. Personally, although I don't follow the series closely, I think stronger and bigger engines are part of the series' identity so shame to see them go.
