Certainly not a happy camper and I guess with good reason - problem is if you sledgehammer HRT etc all it does is drive a wedge between them and the series - yes probably as this has been going on for so long - hit them where it hurts - deduct points before the start of the season so they both start with a deficit - sends a message without killing the goose.
People like Garry Rogers et al deserve the support of the Tega board and the broader racing community of V8s theyve supported this part of the sport longer than Cochrane & Tega.

How mant times have we heard this before?too many times and what happens?nothing i think tega are to gutless and scared to do it ,because of the fans(holden fans)will be angry and they wont attend any races.

I wish for once that when tega say that they are going to do something like banning a team\driver that they actually go and do it.

And you and the dark side would not be whinging if the shoe was on the other foot, pigs a***. Bottom line is that HOLDEN have being caught cheating and TEGA are to gutless to do any thing.

No matter if it was FORD or HOLDEN you cheat you should be pentalised.

Mate I hear ya and sure "maybe" if it was on the other foot I would be complaining. But as per usual, these threads drag out....nothing will happen
HRT & Toll will be on the grid in 2007 and life will go on. Im sure theres many underhanded deals going on within many of the teams on the grids...Who knows, who cares.............Let just get on with the racing, but as they say this may or maynot have been a publicity stunt and yes its working a treat.

HRT have been and will continue to be the most popular Team in V8 Supercar History whether this case is true or not. We will never know or care.

I guess Garry can feel the hurt that Frank Williams does. HRT/TOLL is only a little different to Red Bull/STR and Honda/Aguri. Same car and engine supplier, very similar top eschelon.

But if Mark Skaife says his team is owned by him, I'd take that. He wouldn't want to be doing anything that could screw himself up later, as I'm sure I've heard he'd like to get into business after Motorsport - Fraud isn't something that would look good on your CV.

What agreements Skaife and the Kellys have TWG are irrelevant. There is nothing illegal or against the rule in TWPG having a say in the running of both teams. Just as long as he doesn't own both teams.

I am curious as to why it seems to be one lone voice in the wind (Mr Kershler) who is putting this detail out in the general public. Everyone else has dropped it like a hot potato...

There is another article in today's Daily Telegraph (not in the online version yet) that explains some more of the issue, about the intrinsic proximity of Mr Walkinshaw and Mr Skaife to the ownership/operation/control of the HSVDT and HRT racing teams...

Has there been a change to the ownership to the legal entities operating the franchise licence slots? There have been changes in directorships in late 2006 and early 2007.... what TEGA would be concerned with is what changes are made, and who is actually in charge of the legal entity, regardless of shareholding or other blind alleys...

There must be a change in the Teams Licence Agreement for 2007, with one entity not allowed to control 4 franchise licence slots... as this is what Mr Kershler is suggesting is TEGA's issue... from memory... there was a 4 car restriction in previous seasons... have they tightened the TEGA noose?
