Yes, 'f course. They all are Alfa Romeo's from Milano. In another thread the blue car is not a Matra, I'll go for Gordini.

Re the people, well room for improvement. Knew all the F1 folk young and old, but abysmal on the others.... though I did get Plato.
Ebrey, Bricknell and 'Percy' I have never heard of.(the only Percy I know is Win and it wasnt him!)
Ingram I have heard of (know the name) but wouldnt have a clue what he looks like. Paul Woolmer is a name I seem to recognise but know not from where.
Minassian I obviously know the name, recognised the face as one I knew... but couldnt put the two together. Definately room for improvement on the non F1 people.

I just don't have that much time to spend online.

... and yea, I miss the old Silverstone Media Centre, & some of those whom I enjoyed the company of over the years, thinking particularly of yourself (it must be getting on for 40 years!), David Hodges (my mentor) & too many others to mention.

I'm a bit too creaky these days as I now have arthritis in my lower spine, so no more chasing after young F3 drivers for quotes or dodging those that throw stones. Yes, you, Nicolas Minassian!

John, let's bore the rest of 'em with some nostalgia.

Do you recall Peter Poole of the Loughborough Echo, he was a regular at most club meetings, always full of stories of his International ramblings?

Our favourite (Eric and me) was of his journey to the Nurburgring in his VW camper van, and picking up two German girls for a night of passion. Peter was old porky and highly unattractive to women I'm sure.

Having worked in the Wing at a few Grands Prix, I must say it was a soulless experience, completely devoid of 'atmosphere', so different from the old wooden hut of the 60's. Did you ever work at the circuit when we used an old double decker bus at the end of the Club Straight, before the Complex was addded?

As one poster here would say Happy Days.
