In BRDC F4 I'm sure it was around £20,000 for a current team to upgrade. So based on that, if you're an existing three car team in Ford you're paying £79,200 for your three chassis. If you're in BRDC F4, you're paying £60,000... |

Not sure how Go_For_Pole from Greece knew Australia has selected Mygales seeing how as it was only announced today?
But anyway good choice as Australia has a Mygale agent but probably not other Marques? Apparently CAMS (the Australian Motorsport Governing body) will personally purchase and own the cars and lease them to Teams. This will undoubtedly cause some controversy over the use of CAMS funds. However I feel this is a great decision by CAMS. Hopefully ,as we have seen in the UK, a manufacturer will support the Australian Formula 4 Championship as an engine supplier/sponsor and a tyre manufacturer will do the same. A great opportunity for the future of Australian Motor Sport and any potential partners. |

Maisano, similarly to Al Khalifa and Camilleri, are in the F4 Trophy championship, which is for the "older" or more experienced drivers, not sure which one is the official explanation.
It's a good thing though, it can give us a better look at which are the best from the youngsters. |

Maisano would be second to Stroll if he was scoring, but he's racing to help and support him... btw Stroll won the championship. I think he has won a couple of races overall, but you can't know how hard he's pushing.
I believe next year will be FR2.0 for Stroll, of course with Prema. |

Nice to see Carlin in F4. Does anybody know what's with their Indy-Lights plans?

Mika Salo working on the draft of the new Russian series, which will be held with the support of SMP Racing in a new class of Formula 4.
He will answer questions: http://nonf1.com/2014/09/Mika_Salo_I...an_pilots.html |

It was never properly organized, now it's different. For me Russia needs a strong touring car or GT championship, because the package is quite... uninteresting.

Apparently a F4 Mygale has been doing the rounds in Spain with Spanish F4 Championship signage. Series should be announced shortly.

Sportmotores Portugal say no race there for the series. They should know I guess. Apparently driving force behind the championship is Circuito de Navarra (!!)

Surprised nobody has mentioned this yet, seeing as it was confirmed a couple of days ago. No Portuguese rounds... |

Still not sure where the drivers will come from as there is a French and Italian F4 championship already, and there are not a lot of Spanish or Portuguese karters around... I guess they aim at the South Americans, too. I wonder if a certain Mauricio Baiz will show up...

It would have been more sensible for all the F4 series to run the same engine.

Argentine did another blast in F4 Sudam with a double-win of AgustÃ*n Lima Capitao in the seventh round at TarumÃ*, Brazil, first-ever round of the series that was not done in Uruguay.
Second time in the series that an Argie won the two races in a round; first one was MartÃ*n Ponte in the third round. Sudam F4 Points: Bruno Baptista 265 Felipe Ortiz 204 Francisco Cammarota 146 AgustÃ*n Lima Capitao 122 Nicolás Muraglia 120 Juan Manuel Casella 83 |
