Lewis could slow it a bit further to keep the gap to traffic.
I don't think a Honda mode 7 is going to be enough to outdo the Mercedes. |

Great apex there from Hamilton.
Not so good from Verstappen! |

This reminds me of Mansell v Senna in 1991(?). It is compelling.

1-4 are within 6 car lengths it seems, not at all a good race. But that MB engine and Lewis's rear tires are just killing Verstappen in to the tunnel

I think the best for Lewis may be to let him by and deal with Vettel. Doubt Verstappen can get 5 seconds ahead and would clear his mind a minute

I think Lewis might be losing that rear tire from Verstappen's wing. Maybe not, looks fine after a lap and think it's sadly over now

What could the stewards look at for the Lewis/Verstappen incident? Maybe if one had made the chicane but neither did and they both ran on. And his engineer needs to smack him in the mouth and tell him to listen dammit, we know how you can drive so listen when I tell you something

I find “get in there” as annoying as Vettel’s finger.
Still winners. |

Certainly similar to 1992, I thought it was 1991. Feel sorry for Bottas since he had to stop for more tyres due to Verstappen.

Exactly that. If they feel there was something wrong meet with the drivers to discuss what could happen if there was tire or car destroying contact. There's a time and place for learning moments and end of the race without a car dropping out is that time.
Anyone's thoughts on hitting the team with the unsafe release over the driver? More of a point impact to them, and would cost them more money to drive change. The driver doesn't have much control over the release so hitting him seems a bit harsh. But it is a team event and you do win or lose together. |

I get what you are saying, but in these things it does come down to it being a team sport even in the drivers part.

I personally would still penalise the driver, as it is a team sport.
However, I'm really not a fan of the unsafe release stuff. I understand why it's there, but it gives an inherent advantage to the team with the earliest pit stall. If you come in nose to tail, pit stops are only 2 seconds long, then you have no chance of jumping a spot without an unsafe release. The US doesn't do unsafe releases, and I'm not sure WEC or ELMS do? Someone can correct me on that. |

Ok Lewis, well done at not being the ass on the radio all the time. Chasing down Toto and actually enjoying life, and seemingly including even the camera and marshalls in the fun a bit there. |

US has nice wide pit lanes generally. but you are right, it’s not even considered. Although they would penalise someone for running over a wheel gun.
I’m not against it for Monaco! |
