Well I disagree I think they could have done better.

Something I have wondered for a while now, is why is Dale JR so popular?? He does terrible interviews (of the ones I have seen)...This is not a driver bash, I have nothing against him, I'm just left wondering is all...having only followed nascar seriously for 2 years now.

Perhaps initially, but his popularity has been earned with his straightforward demeanor. The merchandise sales of Jr's constitutes about 25% of all the drivers. Look for that number to climb with the new sponsor. His sister is one-smart-cookie.

I think Dale does great interviews. He is such an honest and open guy and is easy to like.

Witness his comments after every engine failure this year, towards a team he is leaving at years end. Pure class.

And even after he bumped Edwards off at the Busch race. He was like "Well half my fans will hate me, have my fans will love me, but I wanted to win."

And as angry as I tried to be at him, I couldn't help liking him still..

But Carl's were the best quotes. "GOSHDARN IM SO ANGRY DALE IS A POOPY HEAD...but man that was the best race evar k lol?"

One thing to remember, he is probably the most interviewed driver in the world. He is bound to have some interviews not go perfectly.

I'll have to put the DVD of that on this weekend I think, seeing as NASCAR isn't live thanks to coverage of the egg chasing world cup.

The way Carl went from having a fit, banging his car into Dale and then his comments in pitlane was just surreal. And Dale, hehehe.
