Judd has advertised & offered that engine many times, no takers... so perhaps that tells something.

#17 is only 5 seconds behind the #3 Rebellion.

I think it's been like that since the start. We've had no yellows at all (except for local during lap 1 and local for the SMP grenade).

I wondered first if it was for the SMP, but now it has been lingering for so long. Maybe it was there all along then...

Some of the LMP1 struggling with the front end in Copse at the end of that stint. Especially if they have to try and keep it tight while lapping something. Especially the Toyota.

Went to the toilet, wasn’t trackside - what’s the delay with the #3? Best part of a lap down on #17 and #1 all of a sudden?

I don't know what you can hear trackside, but Buemi had a discussion with his engineering regarding front aero. They offered to give him a new nose at the stop, and had it ready, but it did not go on. New nose was worth an additional 1%

Changed the nose at the stop. Wasn't the smoothest change although wasn't that bad. He was 3 seconds ahead of the #17 before that stop and he's 1.8 behind the #17 afterwards.

The #1 was 45 seconds ahead of both them and that gap has extended to 57 seconds.

Edit: Manager of car 3 to the stewards. Don't bring biscuits, it's not that kind of meeting.

This is why Ferrari will never catch a break on the BOP. Sam Bird on a stint old set of mediums still lapping in the 1:59's.

Aston's and Porsche's may have 1 lap pace but they just can't keep the tires under them for a double stint. If Ferrari are granted their BOP wishes, they will dominate.

Have race control totally given up on track limits or what? Looks like GTE cars have no limits at all, as they are all over the place.
