Even though noone is looking in here...
Saloon Cars & Targa Invitational will both be there, both getting 3 x 8 lap races, plus practice/quali. Still going to be boring as all hell.... |

It is not as bad as it was, and it is good for these people to get a big calendar, albeit as "second-hand-roses"
I think the inclusion of the Targa lot will be good. |

Do you think that a big orange Falcon could get a Targa invite?

[V8SC09R21&22] The Island 300, Phillip Island
With many teams burning the midnight oil trying to repair their prized machines from the derby better known as the SuperGP, the teams need to get ready to go to the Desert Four Hundre......I mean The Island 300 at Phillip Island. It'll be stupid not put money on the Holden Racing Team cars after winning the 500 enduro (also at Phillip Island). Triple Eight and Dick Johnson would also be a good bet.
Some smokeys in the pack are Fabian Coulthard and Jason Bright. |

888 were strongest there in enduro trim the last 2 years only getting done by a mistake and a tyre.
Bright was very fast there this year so i think he will have a good outing. Garth is awesome there so i expect him to be a little quicker then will but the question is when does he get called to be rear gunner for Will and HRT put their focus to Will????? |

Due to their coverage of the Melbourne Cup Carnival 7 is not showing Saturday qualifying and racing until midnight.I would have thought putting it on 7 Two which begins broadcasting this week would be a good option for Saturday afternoon.

I'm usually the first in line for a spot of VESA/CAMS/CH7 (in this case) bashing, but cmon guys, the Bahrain round is never during prime time, and Ch7 will have had other committments booked in (the GG's) why should they change their plans because VESA have?

V8 Supercars are on the anti-siphoning list so when shown on Free-To-Air the first run has to occur on the main channel. |
