It's a new team, the engine isn't that bad It's not better probably, but it's not reason for 2 sec.

Nothing wrong with the engine. Vernay didn't have a problem putting it 4th on the grid and 3rd in the race, with a VW...Rob Wickens in the other Kolles car at Hockenheim was also 9 tenths faster than Van Dam.

I also read about it on an Estonian newspaper's website. He said it was a beautiful part of his life but life goes on. He said he would not return to F3 because it's a stage that he has been through already. He was happy that he got this far and agreed to help youngsters in the future. I'm surprised he's calling it quits already. He's good enough to be paid to race somewhere. Carrera Cup or Grand Am, for instance. But maybe he only cares for F1?

Very disapointing. Wikipedia had him listed as a test driver in Superleague last year but i have no idea if he even got to drive the car. As for a switch to tintops i seem to remember he took part in a 24h race at the nurburgring in a BMW 3 series a few years back. Would love to see him drive anything again. Maybe a switch to porsches like alx danielsson after his WSR title?

That wouldnt suprise me, he's got a very good relationship with David Hayle. He's one of the guys that brought Asmer back to HiTech to win the F3 championship.

Draco represents most Estonians' view. Most of us are very pessimistic and are only satisfied by top results. The fact is that he's of course trying as hard as he can to be racing somewhere. I don't understand how going to night clubs occassionally means that he's a slacker.
And no, there haven't been any news on this. |

Yeah, I know what you mean I guess it will take lots of time to change perceptions for racing.
Anyway, Draco is right, Kevin Korjus is the new prime star & it's time for Marko to move his focus outside the F1 ladder. |
