They could pool together to get it placed somewhere. Not sure where mind. And ensure the internet streaming is always there.

It would surely be part of their negotiations prior to entering the series. I am sure it has been said that Audi had a big influence on the move to Eurosport to widen the potential audience. Maybe with more manufacturers they can increase the coverage of each race.

A couple of points?
SRO are, for once, showing how it's done, with GT1 LIVE on the net. No earthly reason the ACO couldn't run that too. Except their Not Invented Here mindset. And Lord help the WEC if the F1 boys feel it's a threat. The FIA can muck it up with crazy rules, just like they managed with Group C. Leaving the Big Dog still lording it. I am happier if it's an ACO run thing, less likely to attract the FIA's attention! |

Well, they did for the last two ILMC races (granted, one of them was just taking the alms.com stream). There may be hope.

The tech exists, as Audi and Peugeot stream live, with a bit of their specific car spliced into things...

I'm not an expert on how it works but in the existing tv market you are really going to struggle to pitch 6-hour races to people. But in the future it could be that people are literally picking what they want to watch on demand instead of set schedules. This is all pretty O/T but let's see. |

Well, sort of OT. After all, why would Bentley come back, if no-one knew about it...

The number 1 rule of being an endurance racing lover is being suspicious of them lot in the single seaters. But I wasn't talking about the demise of Group C. Of course Jean Todt wants sportscars to be successful, he differs greatly in that respect. But there are too many people in the FIA who want F1 to always be king, and that's why I don't think there'll ever be a proper rival to it in Europe. F1 always comes out on top and thats after several other categories having golden eras in the past half century. Let's not get ahead of ouselves. It looks like good times are coming. Providing the world economy doesn't blow up in a few weeks time |

According to Stephane Ratel, in an article on DSC, the Bentley will be racing, but probably not for sale, in 2013.

Thats amazing!
I do however wonder if it will be a nail in the "Audi GTE rumor" coffin. |

They will have to shed a fair bit of weight the continental must be several tons, but at least the drivers will be comfortable.

Good luck. The curb weight is 5060 lbs or 2300kg. lmao, it only weighs 500lbs less than my truck. I wonder if the driver seat will be quilted.

Really intrigued to see how this thing shapes up. Good to see RML pop up behind the scenes.
Obviously I'd love to see it at La Sarthe but I can see why they went GT3 I suppose. Wonder who the drivers will be. I wonder if Guy Smith will return to the fold. Anyone following him on twitter will know he still has some relationship with the company. |

I was questioning the weight loss in the other thread where this has been discussed. They'll have to drop 50% of their weight in order to be in the ballpark of the other cars. That's why I said this car will be a shell of it's road car self.

It's amazing how little sound deadening, ridiculiusly comfortable seats, wood and aluminium trim and AWD a race car needs isn't it?
Bentley will have no issues shedding weight. |
