Annual Sepang test will be done in next week.
However, Satoshi Motoyama will participate in Japanese Autosport's event on Dec. 20 in Japan.
In a word, Motoyama will miss year end Sepang test.

残念なNEWSはMAXマーティンがBMWから離脱。

若くてイケメンで性格も超良いヤツだったから

残って欲しかった。。。。。（予算カットの被害者）

アウガストはDTMにWECとTOPツーリングカー

両方に起用され、いつの間にか

BMWWORKSDRIVERのリーダーの地位ですね。

素晴らしい！！！

あっ、と言うことはWEC FUJI戦にも来ますね。

Title: 2018 BMW motortport
There was a BMW Sports Trophy party at München yesterday.
It is a year-end party only for BMW motorsport involved persons.
I was absent from the party on account of some business.
So no Asian participant there.
Main activity of BMW motorsport for next year is:
-Formula E
-DTM
-WEC/IMSA/IWSC by M8GTE
-Nürburgring 24h by M6GT3Evo
-Global launch of M4GT4
-Expansion of M235i Racing

Sad news is Max Martin's displacement. He is a nice guy. He is a sacrifice of budget cut.
Augusto Farfus is now a leader of BMW works driver.
He will come to Japan for WEC Fuji.
Let's go to Fuji for cheering up him.

According to Takuto Iguchi (#61 Subaru BRZ R&D Sport),
his team struggled throughout 2017 season because of new spec transaxle (it seems 2017-spec was completely different than previous seasons). Best finish for the team was 2nd at Autopolis & suffered numerous DNFs (Okayama, Thailand & Motegi).

Now the big question is, which team he will be placed at. Other than Racing Project Bandoh, the rest of Lexus squad use Bridgestone tyres.

Carguy Racing finally announced it will be participating at Super GT next year with NSX GT3.

Driver lineup : Takeshi Kimura & Naoki Yokomizo as regular driver, and Afiq Yazid as "supporting driver"

Previously Afiq Yazid raced in Super Taikyu with Carguy Racing as Lamborghini driver.

According to Autosport web,
Takamitsu Matsui had participated in Japanese Formula 3 test by his own budget.
He had few experience in Formula car driving. (JAF-F4 only)
So he decided to challenge F3 test to learn how to drive quick-cornering car.
He thinks this is must way to step up to GT500.

I think Arnage Racing will sold 488 GT3 to other team , hence Arnage Racing might cease GT300 program as the potent foreign GT3 user team which
cooperated with Japanese importer which is CORNES.
