Jack65 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Was it announced at midnight? That it didn't appear on Triple 8's Youtube channel and the major motorsport websites until after 08:00 would suggest there was an embargo until after the Surfers Paradise presser.

KGR announce Heimgartner departure

Didn't see that one coming. Where to for Heimgartner? WAU, BJR or Tickford would be the most likely.

Are you asking this on the presumption that Macca is already going to make way for Pither and Coke?

“We also needed to respect that the team is almost a brand-new team, so Stephen [Grove, KGR co-owner] and his guys need the opportunity to get their feet under the desk and make some decisions in the short-term, but we were looking for a longer-term commitment.
from this speedcafe article makes me think he might have only been offered a 1 year deal and wanted longer so went else where

Lets see -Mr Percat stays, Mr Smith's money is good, Macca family and Andre coming in gives us four cars.

Can't see a seat for Mr Hazelwood unless for the enduro's.

But we live in strange times!

Interesting if the Ned sponsorship stays with Grove Racing, or follows Andre to BJR?

Given the management exodus you might be onto something there.

Race.news is suggesting Tickford and WAU are in the frame to sign Heimgartner while Speedcafe is leaning towards BJR. So anybody's guess.

I hope he doesn't go to Tickford, they don't have a great track record of being able ( or willing? ) to run 4 top-spec and competitive cars, and Andre deserves better than a 4th car in a 4 car team. I think BJR or Walkinshaw are good options

Seems harsh! Mr. Hazelwood seems far more talented than Mr. Jones. How about Hazelwood in the Coca-Cola BJR Commodore and Heimgartner in a NED BJR Commodore?

Heimgartner might also consider Team Sydney or Matt Stone Racing to be attractive, especially if he has NED Whisky backing on hand which would be welcome to the commercial roster of either of those teams. Will Davison is hardly a young gun, so a DJR drive should open up at some point.

Just like see Mr Hazelwood in a good team with a competitive car, to see what he can do.

Andre would be a good fit in WAU, but a four car Tickford team might be a bit of a stretch.

Wouldn't go near Team Sydney for ( and especially not with!! ) any amount of money!!!!! Total basket case.

Not harsh at all. Members on this forum had Hazelwood as someone who would walk on water once he got a main series seat, seemingly just because he was good on a bbq and won a weak 2017 DVS series, but he’s done nothing since going full-time

I’d say Pither is next in line for any vacant Coca-Cola seat

Percat quits Brad Jones Racing. Is a contract worth the paper it is printed on? Seemingly not.
