JimboCycling should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I have been reflecting that the full WEC grid plus auto invites and LMP2 entries gives little room for discretionary invites in LMH and GT. I know that is stating the obvious a bit but I have only just appreciated the consequences of this eg for any GT focused Gold or Platinum drivers not in the WEC it is very hard to find a way in to Le Mans.
Part of me wonders if I'd prefer no LMP2 and more discretionary entries in the other classes. But then there is the history and the loyalty of those teams. Nice problem to have of course.

IIRC, isn't it all a bit academic anyway, as both 'Spirit of Race' and 'Formula Racing' are basically AF Corse, or do the Laursens run their own show these days?

Yes - given his links with Heart of Racing I would imagine he would be considered for a drive in IMSA + Le Mans in 2025.

Endurance-Info reporting that Alex Quinn is the third driver in #14 AO by TF LMP2 entry.

I read the other day via DailySportscar that a few entries (LMP2 and LMGT3) were looking uncertain before the publication of the full LM24 entry list this week and that the reserve list may be called upon.

Judging by more recent announcements I would suggest that the questioned entries are:

#9 Proton LMP2 - only Jonas Ried listed in the car
#24 Nielsen LMP2 - original list had David Heinemeier Hansson and Albert Costa in the car, but Costa recently Tweeted that he likely wouldn't be at Le Mans this year.
#44 Proton Ford Mustang GT3 - only Christian Ried listed in the car
#66 JMW Ferrari 296 GT3 - only Giacomo Petrobelli listed in the car

With the #79 Proton Porsche 963 Hypercar as 1st Reserve - I wonder if Proton may withdraw the #9 or the #44 to promote their Hypercar.

2nd Reserve - the #43 Inter Europol LMP2 - will probably be scratched as the listed names in that reserve entry have been moved to the #34 Inter Europol LMP2.

3rd Reserve - the #72 Racing Spirit of Leman Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 with DeBoer/Hasse-Clot/Robin - could well make the race.

I wonder if the 4th Reserve drivers - the #74 Kessel Ferrari 296 GT3 with Hartshorne/Tuck listed - could end up in the #66 JMW Ferrari 296 GT3 given that Hartshorne/Tuck race that car in the ELMS.

I am just so unbelievably excited for this year's race - the sheer variety of hypercars, finally seeing a huge field of GT3 cars blast around the track, the incredible level of driver quality - the race this year has it all. I am no leaving my apartment the entire weekend, lol

Phenomenal list. So many high quality debutants this year too with extra hypercars and GT3 talent finding a way in.

Is this really Palou's first? Maybe I was thinking of his experience at Daytona. Both he and Dixon have done well in the Caddy's at Daytona. Will definitely not be a hinderance in the 3rd seat.

An interesting addition to the Road to Le Mans entry list is former superbike world champion Sylvain Guintoli. He is a former LM 24 Moto winner and apparently has ambitions to be the first to win here on both 2 and 4 wheels. Presumably preparing for a P2 or GT3 drive in a year or two's time?
