A lot of riders do this at times.
Rossi was always hopeless in the wet, as was Pedrosa. Fogarty had a crash at Donington in 1993 and that made him useless in the wet for years afterwards. I think its tyres more than anything to be honest |

Chunder you should remember that ride in the wet in the British GP in 05. The only one who could have stopped the Doctor was the Doctor himself, who did one of the best rides ever that day I remember

The best they could do would be to send him out to do 1000 laps on a wet track with a high powered road bike, which would likely make little difference due to the performance difference and different tyres. |

Interesting comments regarding wet track riding. Moving the subject on a little, what on earth triggered Romano Fenati's fit of pique which has seen him sidelined now? Yoof of today, given such an opportunity...

I love the way it is not a good old predictable and boring series this year and a lot of the unpredictable and close racing is a great breath of fresh air and I look forward to the next few weeks of the title
I just see the similarities between the MotoGP and the WRC. The fact that we have so many people who are winning after years of the sport being won by the top three or four men and we are not wondering if the British can end the drought in either anymore |

THe last time we had 8 different winners in a season was 2000 - Roberts Jr, Rossi, Biaggi, Barros, McCoy, Capirossi, Abe, Criville.
However this year we have had 8 different winners in 8 consecutive races. This has never happened before in the history of Grand Prix racing. (Since 1949) |

Great ride by Marc Marquez on his way to win the Motorland Aragón round, thus moving away in the championship. He has now a 50+ points cushion against Rossi and Lorenzo.

Meh, alwyas been a Mqrquez circuit this one for me, bike like Austin.
Shame the series is probably going to be won quite easily really he deserves it obviously, but I was hoping he would be even more of a berk this year than last. |

And all time he was saying he wouldn't do it in Japan, well he has now. Well done indeed. He's just quietly got on with scoring points all season

Nicky Hayden jumping on the Repsol Honda
for Pedrosa. I like it! See if NH can remake some 2006 magic. |
