John Jordan GT40 as raced in many libre events and special GT races in the late 60s. John was also famous for his antics flying his Stearman biplane to Snett and Silverstone, memorably flying under the 'Motor' footbridge across the pit staight at Silverstone and taking down the telephone wires across the track!

As mentioned earlier, Le Mans 2001 was seriously wet. It really chucked it down, and of course being a 24 hours race, you stay wet for a lot longer than normal races.
(And I can still smell the stink of the 30 wet people sleeping on the Page and Moy coach...) |
