Interesting nugget from Jarvis. The LMP2 are quicker than Hypers after restarts as the hypers stuggle on the tyres. Although the hypers still have the top end speed.

The Ferrari's are out of sync on pit strategy. Both cars pitted under the first safety car when the other manufacturers stayed out.

Also the #50 Ferrari got a drive through penalty because of overtaking a GT car before the safety car line just before the end of a caution period.

Edit - And now one of the Ferrari's has been underfueled.

Basically it's Ferrari's first race in the WEC and they're making some rookie errors.

Little bit messy from them.

Got off-strategy early and pitted under SC but the #51 lost a bit of time. Fuoco got a penalty for passing too early on the restart. The #50 are also under investigation for something else and apparently they didn't get all the fuel in at the last stop.

So coming apart at the seams slightly.

belt driven has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Watching live on Motor Trend TV; but I can't get any live timing. WEC page shows practice and qual results, but blank page for live.
