Bear in mind that the Goodyear BTCC tyre is the Dunlop BTCC tyre (or usual season-on-season evolution thereof) with the stickers peeled off.

I'm sorry but cars starting races with the hybrid not working is unacceptable. Toca and cosworth really need to sort this out. Nearly a whole season and they're still not on top of it.

A real Collard move on the last lap there. Like Father, like Son.

Collard penalised, Ingram to P3.

so you push someone out of race no real penalty, you just do a more robust move like any real touring car should do you get penalty, what kind of s"""t is this ??

On a separate topic, another Porsche roll? These cars seem susceptible to that sort of thing. There was one for Ross Wylie at Knockhill in free practice and one in Australia the other week too. |

A 1 second penalty is more lenient than a reprimand and 2 penalty points in a lot of ways. |

Well had to watch the races on catch up but TBH the first two races were not that great but third much m ore exciting and normal BTCC quality. Not sure i agree with the collard penalty but either way he had a good race and cdertainly a chip off the old block. great to see jason on the podium again but i think it may be his last.

I felt for Tom Chilton this weekend.
After some real improvements lately he’s looked much more back to the driver he was not so long ago. But a disaster on lap 1 of race 1 totally ruined his weekend. |

What exactly happened to put in him out for the whole day? I thought in the replay of the R1 start there was fluid pouring out of his car, noticeable on the camera of the car we were 'riding on'.

Well it's the Jason Plato who was here in 2019 after the Sutton incident at Snetterton, 2016, when he told porsche962fan to come and meet him at one of the races to discuss their problems, 2011 to complain about the relative performance of turbo and non-turbo cars, 2009 and 2004 to say thank you, and a few things in 2000.
So I am going to assume that it really is Jason Plato because I would prefer that to be true to it being an internet troll And while 100 wins now looks very unlikely I think another win at Thruxton is perfectly possible considering the Honda generally goes well there, a win at Silverstone is unlikely considering straightline speed is so crucial there, and then one at the final race at Brands Hatch would look very scripted but it also a possibility. Jason, thank you for your time in the championship, you've always been the driver providing the most entertainment to the BTCC, and I hope you can get at least one more win in the final three rounds, preferably three more. Hopefully Mr Neal will enter the final round as well as his cars are unlikely to be in title contention, and then we can have the Plato-Neal swansong at Brands Hatch. |

Yes I remember that, for me it seemed more Plato's fault that incident. But it's always good to have him on here, he's been through a lot. He doesn't have to come on here.
But either way best of luck for the rest of the year JP. I don't think he has the car to win on merit. Others are more competitive. Silverstone will be tough for them, but I'm sure Plato will still give it his all We'll see what he does next, the door is open to continue if he feels up for it. I can't see Neal coming back though |
