I'm not his spokesman but.....He's leaving the mad world of motorsport behind him. It's more sad than 'interesting'!

Pretty Vacant should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Agree, its sad in many ways, but on a lighter side one wonders how long he can last without a fix! He's spent many a year on the merry go round of motorsport!
I'm sure the others involved in Masters will keep things "motoring" on!

I have heard that Christopher clashed with some racers but personally have to agree with you John. Will miss his race briefings and prizegivings definitely!

News to me Mike but I suppose you can't please everyone. He was great to work with and a very loyal and supportive colleague. I certainly envy his style 'behind the mike'

Maybe I should have worded it that some racers clashed with him..... That would say more about the racers than Christopher

Better start learning a few more languages and practicing your MC technique then John! (Apologies if you already speak dozens!)

Thats the way it was.

Best of luck Ron and the troops.

I struggle with English!
Funny story though at Monteblanco. I told their race director that I didn't speak Spanish. He said "It's OK - Senor Tate says you speak French. I said yes - who here speaks French?. He laughed and said 'Nobody'

Im gonna miss him with regards to Masters to tell you the truth, his wit is as dry as a desert at times and he is very sharp without doubt..... he is bloody good at what he does (although sometimes....we need clarification of actually what that is!)
but seriously, he is a great personality within Motorsport and I do hope (and I mean this) that he will still keep one or two fingers in the great motorsport pie. I for one wish him all the very best success in whatever his new role is.

Good Luck Mr Tate

Sorry, Peter. Should have mentioned that the HSCC Donington 20th March date replaces the provisional 2nd April date.

Late Algarve is ,I understand,Legends,Carol Spagg, etc No Masters.

With Carols three races and Legends two thats a start.Pre 63 GT,U2LTC.

The new 1000 K's Carol series seems like a good place for B8's,16's and Merlyns .

Yes, it will still be a good place to be in late October but am surprised that Masters have dropped it or is it the other way round?

1000K seems to leave out 23Bs, Merlyns, Elvas etc.
