This is Bathurst though - and an enduro - the tricks and traps of Bathurst and the concentration required are just different - I'd much rather see him racing with guys who have 10 or so Bathursts behind them.

That's where you are wrong, no rookie Is talented enough to run an all rookie team. An old experienced driver always is good, look at Waters working around Frosty, Chaz with Frosty and DJR. Guarantee if they had started with LDM in a rookie team they wouldn't be anywhere near where they are now. Also Scotty Mclaughlin with GRM. Then there's poor Scotty Pye who is not a fail at all, just didn't get the attention that his fellow competitors did at the same stage of promotion

Money, or lackthereof, will be the detirmining factor.
Logic and sound reasoning are not what this team is known for. |

Brabham is hardly a rookie! He has raced in the Indy 500 for crying out loud. Not the small leagues of Formula Ford and Supercar development series. |

Chalk and Cheese. Just because he has raced indy, doesn't mean he is automatically going to be good in a V8. Actually a naïve comment. Much more downforce then a V8 supercar, only need to turn left, my opinion, and in the minds of many elite racers from overseas, is that Bathurst is highly complex, can do things overseas and come he to fail. Will Power, Robert Dahlgren, Alex Premat, Allen Simonsen, Oliver Gavin, Sebastian Bordias . All names that certainly know how to steer, come into a V8 Supercar only to find that it is harder then they think, some even claimed it to be the most challenging, competitive and exciting category in the world. Whats to say Brabham will be any better than Alex, if anything Alex has more experience.

Other pay drivers may get the seat but that seems unlikely since nobody has stepped up to race the #3 LDM car. |

Sorry if this annoys anyone, I have to say this but from this year I have gained immense respect for Phil Munday his loyalty to LDM has been very credible and amazing

It'd have to be the Briggs colourscheme wouldn't it, seeing as it's a Ford?

Hell, one of the Supercheap ads from back in the day, stated you couldn't park a Commdore at the same domicile as a Falcon. For whatever reason, I don't know... |

I guess we had a Caltex Sierra livery on a Triple 8 Commodore last year without any fuss really made, so perhaps it wouldn't be too much of an issue
Does the Briggs AU still exist in that livery today? If so, using that livery makes a handy tool to easily display them alongside eachother at the event. |

Yeah, I believe it still does.
There's an EL in that livery too. |
