Yeah, it's a ridiculous system for RV and trailer guys to get down there to Will Call, at least make a decent loop for guys with big stuff. I had to drive through the guy wire on the pole right out front, thankfully there was someone out at the corner to confirm before I drove down to the side gate

Im the same, be it boarding passes, tickets, whatever. I like something physical in my hand (yes I know that sounds just wrong but you know what I mean) rather than in some digital device relying on wi-f1, data or battery life.

Hey Luddites, your tickets are stored locally in the Wallet or in the email. Your phone will have the record whether YOU have service or not, all they need is the code and internet on their side. Exactly the same as Delta, United and others apps for boarding passes, save it and the QR generated returns your info and they search it.

Won't do me much good if the phone's battery goes dead. I print the tickets and have a copy for myself and another copy with my wife in case we get separated. One phone won't be in both of our hands if we get separated. She drives the van with the golf cart, and I drive the motorhome.

Sounds to me like a solution in search of the applicable problem.
FYI most newer systems will not be accepting printed copies due to issues with scammed tickets. Not likely to impact Petit cause who's scamming resale tickets for it but concerts definitely. Yeah, people suck and will sell hot ticket codes multiple times and idiots will buy tickets on FB marketplace and CL cause sure, of course they're not liars |

To each his own. I just feel more comfortable having the tickets in as many formats as possible just in case.

I can see the psychological need to have the formats.
I remember the last time my phone had a flat battery. I believe it was 2002. |

I'm a redundancy kind of guy. I take my phone, and I have a printed copy of the QR code sheet. I see no problem with doing so. Less risk of issues and better peace of mind. I do the same with everything I feel is important. The MH currently has two Dish network receivers, two dish outdoors antenna, two T-Mobile hotspots and two kegs of beer. Pretty much covers it all.

What was the problem? I had confirmation and printed tickets months ago.

Just checked the Road Atlanta staff listing on their website. Neither Adam nor Abe are shown on the employee listing. They show Shannon Leach as ticketing manager. We'll be there bright and early on Tuesday and hopefully there won't be any confusion and fiascos.
At least Joyce is still with them. Last edited by JT240Z; 20 Sep 2024 at 13:51. |

Ya, the "Lady was Joyce. She was the greatest. I was always able to talk to Abe. Several times he would adjust my ticket prices by $10 to eliminate the "processing fee" because I had to order them at different times. I always pay for my RV spot as soon as they say I can. It's one ticket I don't want to miss out on. I then spread the rest of my tickets over time since they don't usually sell out (General admission and golf cart pass). Strange they don't list Abe as a staff member now.
I'm hearing of so many that have either forgot to purchase their RV tickets or were too late to get one since they were sold out. That would be heart breaking. Now they appear to be sold out of any camping passes. Not even tent camping is available now. Man, it is going to be one hell of a circus this year. PS: I just checked my printed tickets just to make sure. |

The issue was my campsite reservation did not appear in my wallet, or whatever that bullshit is called, and they double sold my campsite last year. I have to admit I got short on the phone, but for the last 7 years I've bought the most expensive ticket they offer. I'm number 18 on the hard card holders list. They made campsite 316 for me. All my gear is specifically designed for that dump. Just help me out a little within two days, please. Am I being an *******? I dunno but I had Abe's cell number, he knew who I was, and always picked up.

And it's turn 4 damnit.
"he knew who I was". I like to think I'm a smart man but I am still from Georgia. |

It's not about who you know but how little you use that "power". Plus Abe told us to call him with any concerns including being a parking rat any time. And he was always responsive. So far Shannon hasn't replied about my camping pass, they forgot again this year I get RV and camping pass. Someone may need it

Seems that this is the first year that all camping passes are sold out. Even tent camping! |

If you have a tent pass you want to get rid of, go the Petit Le Mans face book page. There are a ton of sob stories desperately needing a tent pass.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/4210...iUYFxmLv0crLa9 I feel very lucky with my reserved RV pass I've had for over 20 years. |
