Great start for both SEATs.

Quite some dirty driving there, Engstrom pushing Ceresoli wide was very unnecessary and Lundgaards action on Campanico was just retarded.
I must say that the director is doing an awesome job at missing a lot of action, everytime you see the start of an overtaking or touché the camera is pointed somewhere else again. Pretty annoying. Interesting battle at the front though, seriously close. Now if only those S1600s would bugger off... Last edited by Bramzel; 28 Oct 2007 at 11:49. |

We are watching close racing, and a lot contacts.
Ceresoli was too optimistic there. |

I don't mind contact when its in a fight, like Poulsen vs. Geipel. When it is stupid behaviour like Lundgaard on Campanico then it just ****es me off.

Nice race, well driven by Engstrom. Great fight between Mörth and Nykjaer at the end, it seems to me this track suits the S2000 cars pretty well.

Yeah of course. I agree. No driving mistakes for Engström, a perfect race for him. Overtaking slow cars was a challenge. |

Ceresoli just saw red and missed his braking point entirely - shame, he was doing well up till then.
Good fight between Morth and Nykjaer the whole way though, made it easy for Engstrom. To win the cup though he'll need to do some work in race two. I think Morth and Nykjaer are my favourites for the cup - but since those two will probably crash trying, Emmet's my dark horse to move from runner up '06 to winner this year - he should be able to pass Lvov and Geipel pretty easily at the start of race two. |

It's a shame there are no Honda's anymore in WTCC. In the hands of a good driver it's still a competative car in the privateer class.
Moller makes the same mistake as Ceresoli. |

Companico and Lundgard already 7th and 8th? Good race for them because they were stuck in gravel in race 1.

Looks like Morth was given a 30 second penalty in race one, hence Charlie Geipel's pole and Morth starting 9th - kinda gave Denmark the nations cup.
Another good drive by him in race two though. They appeared to have forgotten to throw the chequered flag in the second race. Evident as by the next lap, Morth had passed Poulsen, but Poulsen was credited with 2nd. Good win for Nykjaer though, and not surprising. Good runs from Campanico & Ceresoli to recover to 8th and 9th. Last edited by Hazard; 28 Oct 2007 at 15:30. |

Despite I don't like this Mickey Mouse track the racing was good. Unfortunaly they showed only the front runners.

GR Asia drivers line-up wasn´t so weak. Great effort for this team with SEAT cars. Michel Nykjaer has been fantastic at wheel, and now he seems to travel to Macau for the last WTCC round.
