Oh God looks like DQ for Tingram.... That's quite a dumb rule in such situations. As much as I'm cheering for Ash, I hate to see Tingram lose a victory in such circumstances. Really anticlimactic. Shame a fantastic race turned into such a chaos.

Chilton DQed too ITV are saying - at the end of the day if others have taken the precautions on ride heigh and Excelr8 haven't that is their problem unfortunately

Just because it's fun, doesn't mean it's right. It also seemed that his tongue was firmly in his cheek and he knows that it is not how the BTCC should be raced.

which part was bashing doors? Cook and Sutton had contact that resulted in the former being sent into the wall but that looked like a racing incident. Other than that, the battle was quite thrilling IMO

I would almost guarantee Sutton will have failed the ride height as well. A few bits of heavy contact plus a trip or two across the grass.

The BTCC twitter saying results are still to be confirmed...


at the end of the day if a team fails the rules, they fail the rules. I don't see why they should keep the result over a team that read the weather correctly and increased their car's ride height, even if we end up with the car in 17th pace being announced the winner - it's going to be considered as a shambles whatever happens now.

And what if all the cars fail the ride height? Can imagine this really could happen. Perhaps the best way would be to repeat the race, which is of course impossible...
