John and the gang were at scrutineering gathering info for the Scrutineering podcast to be shown on Wednesday?
I understood there was a live broadcast this afternoon. |

Not sure if they'll like me posting this here, but... http://direct.sharp-stream.com/radioshow.mp3 Recommendation: play on the webplayer and keep this as a backup if the webplayer doesn't work.

But What All must remember is that RLM can probably only count the listeners from their own site, and therefor wont receive Sponsorship count from those listining outside. |

Should anyone not be envious of James and I yet, a quick snap from our most enjoyable meeting this afternoon with RLM commentators Charles 'Chuck' Dressing, Trussers (Paul Truswell) and Paul Tarsey.....

What about TuneIn? Are those listeners counted too?
I wanted the link so I could increase latency to try and match up the sound with the Eurosport pictures but I forgot that you can pause on TuneIn, so I'll probably try and attempt it that way. |

Solution: visit the website once in a while or even click the player that way but keep listening via the direct link. Or keep it in a background window.

It seems a bit odd not hearing Graham Tyler in the pits but I have to Jeremy Shaw is giving some fantstic coverage from the pits so far.

I agree. Jeremy has always been a great part of the ALMS broadcasts. Still getting used to his voice and not thinking this is in America.

Would be the height of crap service if everyone have to use a wonky evil flash player. Loads of devices can't use or have serious problems with flash based players. Not smart to alienate people by putting through the horrors with flash, when they could be listening to the race. |

Would anyone hazard a guess at how much data RLM uses per hour?
At a really rough guess from their N24 coverage it was around 100mb. Im on a prepaid data plan so might have to top up before the weekend. |

When I was listening through TuneIn it was streaming at 58 kbps, so 58 * 60 is 3480, roughly 3.4 megabytes a minute which would then be roughly 203 MB an hour.

Also, an hour of podcast at 128 kbps is only about 55-60 MB. |

Hahaha Thanks for the replies guys, so it's somewhere between 20-30mb an hour then. Looks like my estimates were well off, aren't you glad I'm not an engineer? Haha
Just one more question is RLM accesible by iPhone? |

Isn't it bits per second, not bytes per second?
