EGG has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

After fighting various things for several hours here, I've subscribed monthly to Eurosport Player using the Hola plugin for chrome. I'm unsure what the commentary is going to be, but for 6 quid (where is that pommy squiggle?) I'll take my chances. Feed is HD.

I couldn't even find a way to pay for the Android ACO app after installing it on my phone and in a PC emulator...

That's the best! When they can't even bother to be organized enough to take our money! I was going to pay for a desktop stream. It could have been $20. I was going to pay...

My point exactly. The strange thing is, wasn't there a pay stream announced in April?

Like EGG, because of the ACO stupidity I have subscribed to Eurosport Player from the US via the Hola extension for use on my laptop. Looks like quality is a bit better than the VLC links, especially for when I hook up to the 65" big screen.

I love RLM but you cannot hear the cars if you use their audio over a TV feed muted.
Out of interest, do you still get SPEED in your part of our fine country? There is no such animal here in southern Ontario any more... and thus no way to watch any of Le Mans on television. Unbelievable. Enraging. Irritating.

I blame Rogers. And NASCAR. And various other organizations.

I am trying to figure out where to stream from. It seems the app is garbage so I am looking at Eurosport. I am just wondering the difference between the crowd pass 5.99 and the sports fan 3.99?

I have the aco app and has been pretty good.there is no where to pay as I couldn't find it either.just wait until a live session and the camera icon to the right will turn red, click on it no it will prompt you to pay.thats the only way I was able to get it working.

Sports fan you commit for one year (12*3.99). Crowd pass is month to month. If you do Crowd pass, make sure you cancel your account after Le Mans, as it is a recurring payment each month.

For the sports fan you must subscribe to 12 months at a rate of 3.99 per month. The crowd pass is just 1 month (all you'll need) for 5.99

Imho, no. That was for WEC, and the payment options specifically say "excluding Le Mans".

I did assume too that there would be something for Le Mans, since the mobile app is there for Le Mans.

I think it will be just onboards, possibly with their own commentary or something.

Been looking thru this, any VLC links without the annoying 8 hour long Eurosport ad breaks?

- the continous no-commentary feed isn't HD, but nothing stops you from opening the site twice (continous + ES1/ES2), muting and syncing them (pausing the video)

Much more happy now than I would be with the local commentators and crappier quality.
If you run the streams simultaneously, does it run smoothly? I ask because my broadband is around 9mb (1.1mbps).

I was going to use some VLC links but if I can make the non-commentary feed+HD video thing work, I'll buy a subscription

Trying to decide where to stream the race start from. Eurosport via VLC? Dailymotion? Which seems to be the best choice among the couch crowd?

Any known VLC stream for Eurosport?

Will they be switching between Eurosport 1 & 2 like they used to do on previous races?
