Indeed and they have also tested Gabriel Dias and Oliver Oakes.
Buller could be a big surprise. He dominated the FBMW race in Macau - pole position, race win and fastest lap - this in a team he had not met before and competing against their regular driver, the highly-rated Felipe Nasr. |

Litespeed F3's Nino Judge to head Lotus F1 driver development
Lotus F1 Racing have also appointed former Malaysian F1 driver Alex Yoong as Head of Driver Development (Asia) alongside Nino Judge, the Team Principal of the UK-based Litespeed Formula 3 team, as Head of Driver Development (Europe).
http://www.lotusf1racing.my/article/...ointments.html Can only be good news for Litespeed and British F3 |

It's also worth mentioning that Alex Yoong himself is an ex-British F3 driver - you just can't keep them out of the limelight!
I think Nino Judge is more of a financial person (someone in the City) than a motor racing person, but he's a great character and enthusiast and if somehow he's managed to keep Litespeed involved in the F1 team, then good for him. |

Slightly off topic...
Talking of "being in the limelight" has anybody seen "The Season" a "Holyoaks" style ski programme, lunch times Saturday on BBC2 staring ex-Promatecme driver Alex Waters. He also appears to be dating one of the Sugarbabes! http://angryape.com/news/amelle-is-dating-alex-waters Who knows where British F3 can land you ! |

Didn't he used to be an engineer for Lotus, though?

That's how he's been described lately, but whenever I saw him at an F3 meeting last year he was keeping well away from the cars and doing the charming host bit instead. He joked to me that he had been warned off!
Steve Kenchingon is the pukka engineer. |

I think Hitech with Buller and DÃ*az are testing in Alcañiz and probably other teams (ART is confirmed). But it's a bad week for testing in spain (rain and snow).

We are now 10 days after the SRO awards night, in the middle of December and still no dates for F3 next season.
Almost every other professional series organisers, throughout the world, have published their 2010 dates, why is it that SRO find it so difficult? Have SRO not considered it would be better for their customers, the teams taking part and all the other series stakeholders to publish the information early? Most professional sports organisers would by this stage have finalised the arrangements for 2010 and would be making god progress on the preliminary arrangements for 2011. Does anyone believe we will see the F3 dates for 2010 before xmas? |

Regarding your comments there Easton, on another site (think it was the btcc.net forum) I read that F3 definitely won't be supporting the GT round at Donington in October.
Presumably this means that F3 won't be visiting DP this season (then again, will anything!?) so where will the sixth British round of the series be? It was indicated in Autosport a while back that there'd be a 6/4 split in terms of home and European rounds and we've got five of the home rounds confirmed thanks to the GT calendar. 03-05 April Oulton Park 03/04 July Snetterton 17/18 July Rockingham 14/15 Aug Silverstone Grand Prix 25/26 Sept Brands Hatch Grand Prix I wonder whether we will see British F3 supporting the Tourist Trophy/FIA GT weekend at Silverstone at the beginning of May again, as it would fill the gap between Oulton & Paul Ricard nicely. But yes, they really should have announced something by now. If they don't do it this week then I can't see it being done before the New Year. |
