That's McNish, testing the car about 4 years ago.

My guess is that the car Porsche is/was testing in South Africa is the 2000 prototype with as much updating to 2005 rules that the basic car allows. To allow a benchmark for the Porsche engineers to work from.

Im' not sure that we mentionned before the fact that Yves Courage reported, on Infocourse, that he will be there in 2005 with an LMP1, with a code name starting by LC (LC01), like Liliane Courage.
Yves Courage is still hesitating between an LMP and an LMPGTP (performances, budget, etc...). |

Check : according to Infocourse today, the unofficial name of the new Courage could be LC70...
More : american customers for the C65 LMP2 chassis, an a possible entry at Elkart Lake this year. |

LMSR.net reports that Team Bucknum might have a different chassis/engine configuration for Road America. It would be nice if they showed up in a C65.

Aha!
Now I look down the previous threads I can see it. I arrived at this thread through Google whilst trying to find out the actual dates for the Le Mans 24 Hrs in 2005 so I can go and watch the Astons racing. Anyone care to enlighten me ? Kind regards John |

With the rules change, no reason to build a new car for 2005.
I'm sure teams like Courage aren't happy, as when the rules do change, their car will be almost 3 years old. |

For people who didn't see a photo of the new Lucchini LMP2, look at Mulsanne's Corner.

It is said in a french newspaper that the Hezemans have said good-bye to the Pagani Zonda, and could enter a Vette next year, due to the closing rules of FIA-GT and ACO.
This a FIA-GT post, but we've no "2005 FIA-GT" thread yet, and it seems to show that nobody believes in the Pagani anymore... |

Toine Hezemans is not the right man to lead such project and Horacio Pagani is not really interested in motorsport. |
