Am I the only one here enjoying the hell out of this race? It's been better than any WEC race I watched last season (up to this point) aside from a single class at Interlagos.

I see, the usual elitism and Eurocentrism. Why are you in this thread if you hate the racing so much? Clearly the drivers from DTM, V8s, ELMS etc are perfectly happy to race in the Daytona 24 and think it's worth their while... WEC and F1 don't hold a monopoly on driver talent or good racing.

Naw, it's actually a lot better than last year's edition.... race control is much more sensible and BoP in the classes seems pretty good as well.

These drives are nuts. Do they realize that the FCY procedures are very forgiving. Even if you call a lap down or two you are still in the hunt. Just keep it clean then you have a shot. Err...guess not.

Pffff have you ever seen a lmp1?? You must be kidding. One think is gloryfying your home soil and a total different thing is letting it eat your mind. How can you stand all those long FYC periods and all the crap. There is not close racing for more than 5 minutes. Anyway I must compliment your patience.

Well i love WEC and especially the big one but this race is very good to watch and makes F1 look very boring IMHO settled down to watch the rest of the race

We had that at Dubai two weeks ago and I was rather bored by the end of that. But to each his own, I guess.

F1 or paint drying, which one had more excitement last year. Course I only got the worst races being shown on NBC, but was not excited for US and Brazil by the time they came on.

I had the tv on mute, but saw that he was on. If I had the remote within arms reach I would have turned the sound on.
