Second Isotta chassis in the house. Chassis #1 for testing, #2 for racing.

Well they are leaving F1, would love to see an Alfa on the grid in the rejuvenated WSC.

Isotta Fraschini revealed. Looks even more LMP1 than the Toyota.

Seriously though I think it looks good, and the road car versions sound intriguing. Glad they are making progress and have one car assembled, but without headlights fitted it does make me wonder if there are other bits not quite ready to be installed. |

They have posted a few videos showing the build. It looks like the important bits are there.

Glad to see that they got the job done. One finished unit, ready to go... and onto testing and development to get race ready.
This is a grand example of a new manufacturer delivering on the promise, and on time. Should be a big push for others to make the deal and get in on this. |

Jota appears to want to expand to a 2 car Porsche outfit for 2024. Not sure if they have ordered a 2nd car or where Porsche sits with that, but would be good to see.

Isotta looks much better from side with half blue (house colours), and a big ‘IF’ in more ways than one.

Interesting debate started by Filipe Albuquerque around customer car numbers:
https://twitter.com/Albuquick/status...59220562309120 https://twitter.com/Albuquick/status...60530036678656 Reckons there should be a four car per manufacturer limit. Can't say I agree with that - whilst seeing his point to a minor extent. I'm sure it must smart for him being attached to a manufacturer who isn't as front foot as Porsche is globally. Feels like a bit of a battle to get Honda to Le Mans. But not sure limiting the grid and the customer/commercial model is the right way to go. Especially with BoP or whatever they're calling it now in place. No one wants it to turn into P2 single class territory but I don't think we're anywhere near there yet. |

4 car per organization I could see, even 3 would be ok. But if Penske run 2, Jota 2, Proton 1, JDC 1 why should we be upset by that. Caddy could have CGR run 2, AXR 1 and then show the car can compete to sell a couple more. And Honda could decide to back it more than 50 bucks thrown at HPD to build an engine but as of now it seems like Honda corporate is fine with 2 cars so that's on them. Their previous DPi did not sell on BaT, a Porsche would not have even made it that far if we're all honest.

Lucky that Porsche are very slow builders -surprisingly slow given they can make 850 or so cars a day and VW as a whole 12,500. Assume support package committments are main limit going forward. Still struggle to see why they are so slow this year with Jota and Proton though - buying in handmade components one by one! 4 car limit per manufacturer wouldn't work as you'd some say Audi's turning up all of a sudden. |

It doesn't make sense to me. Yes, we can have 6 to 8 Porsche but we will have Peugoet, BMW, Lamborghini, Cadillac, Alpine, Isotta Fraschetti, VanWall, Glikenhaus, ... so nothing like a Porsche cup. The grid will be awsome and nothing to complain |
