Clan in bits 'n pieces.
Proud Sprint owner: glorious sounds! This looked like a sure winner, until . . . . . . this AJP8 powered Mk1 came in my sight. Budget racing never was so much fun: 3K eBay Pork ready for a 6 Hrs run of fun. Fantastic and roll on 2012. Will campaign this stuff, even in NL to pull in a few teams. Weekend! |

More a fast road car than a racer IYAM: Brit muscle car. Only 82 were built. Nick Thompsons Chevron B6. More four pot fun. Dominic Spicer on them: 'Probably the most affordable and accessible way to enjoy the thrills of racing in a bygone era, the 9s is a phenomenally quick ( and forgiving ) true masterpiece of mechanical engineering. These 2 litre, group 6 cars, continue to bring smiles to anyone fortunate enough to drive them. Gwyn Pollard says: Acquired in 2006, the Crosslé was my first racing car, and I couldn't have picked a better one - good looking, reliable, very fast. The benign handling allows even novices to explore the limits. I've had a few class wins and plenty of placings in the car, plus an overall win and a second at Spa - the highlights so far." Brit muscle car??? Its fitted with yankee Ford V8 engine and gearbox! Nice car though and pretty quick just too expensive new to ever be a success and Clarkson slated them at the time.

All
I want to tell you that we now have four entries in the 2012 race, now thats not bad considering we have not even spoke about it, advertised it or what have you but the fourth entry....well now....that is.... a very very special entry indeed The car is nothing fancy....and the driver may not be that famous, but let me just say that, without him....there would be no 360 Since getting his entry I have smiled to myself on several occassions.....I look forward to meeting him....and shaking his hand because we all owe him a debt.....he is ...a very special member of ten tenths the next line will give him away....but I do hope that his GERM OF AN IDEA....lives up to his own expectations next year. Thanks for entering Podd........see you in 2012 xxxxx |

It is obviously all induction noise, generated by the single choke downdraught going by the picture with the bonnet up.

That Capri has sounded absolutely superb for the last couple of seasons, since I think, Peter had the engine rebuilt and a decent exhaust system. But, yeah that's definitely Peter with the cap on!

We had some headers built a couple of years ago and since then the engine has adopted a unique signature. Sounds even better at Spa with the back box removed.
