For 17 years young he certainly is a big boy, I'm wondering if he'll fit in the little porker easily!

Slipstream Network's latest Sportscar America podcast includes an interview with Darren Law.

He mentions that running a 570s GT4 under the KPAX Racing program could still be a consideration if they had a customer.

He also says that for the GT class they're working on a very similar program to this year's.

I would welcome longer races.

They should be. I like the idea of PWC branching out, but SprintX was a pretty lame duck way to do so. If you want to move beyond sprint races, bite the bullet and go full endurance.

And if you want to do it on the cheap, do it the Creventic way, with a fueling station at pit in or pit out instead of individual fuel rigs at every pit.

I was told today from a pretty reliable source (team owner) that it's going to be 5 and 5 (sprint/sprintx) and 60 minute maximum race distance (single tank of fuel) with tire changes during the pit stop. Basically the same as they first announced.

There will be Pro, Pro-Am, and Am-Am championships in the Sprint X series.

That's a Staples pen. I'm glad somebody loves those things because they are total garbage. Signing a driver's contract is probably the most exciting thing ever done with a Staples pen.

That was to be expected. Good thing is there won't be any refueling which saves a bunch - and keeps things much safer as well! - but the tires changes will add some. All in all a decent compromise if you ask me.
