This is my layout for the first challenge. The blue is the original Circuito delle Tre CittÃ*; the gray combined with the start of the the original lap is the Circuito del Lago, used from the 1950s onwards.

How?

Can you, how can you do that! That was once one of the fastest circuits in the world! (not in it's current configuration)

Your Destruction of Silverstone! No offence, but God help us you become a preofessional track designer like tilke, since you lke tight a twisty circuits try redesigning Knockhill, alternatively try redesigning Mondello Park and Pegusa (remember there's a Volcano involved with that one )

On the other hand, your Hockenheim design is actually not tat bad, although the redesign of the last section would involve buldozing and rebuilding about half of the grandstands.

Here's my attempt at the 20's track challenge. It has five major configurations, with some maller minor ones. The black is the main circuit, the green, yellow, light blue, and blue are the circuit variants. I was able to get the track to go through the town in the top right twice, but to do that, I had to create a road course portion of the track.

Thanks for the fanmail Lustigson

And now for the ultra-safe, ultra-modern, version of "Il circuito classico del tipo, quello può dire la pizza e la pasta in italiano", whatever that means
And the only chicane is a result of a natural kink in the road! No doubt the real F1 boffins would have something to say about the quicker corners.

hmm... i know... I struck the british national patriotism...

Well... What specificly dont you people like about the silverstone?

And besides, i dont care if my chances are undoable... i mean, look at my Gilles V., that would involve filling in the lake with cement... and some of the river too...

My take on the challenge:

30's track doesn't really need an explaination...

Called "Autodromo del Panzaria"... dunno... sounds Italian

Oh, by the way, both 1930 and 1970 circuits are counter-clockwise.

1970 circuit:

Built around the south section of the previous circuit. I decided to fill in the river instead of having to not go over it . I added a few chicanes so that it would actually be somewhat safe.

I envision this circuit as somewhat like Melbourne, although more rural.

Here is my new fantasy track. Runs clockwise. Light grey/blue is alternatives for bikes and/or short courses. Basic layout inspired by Jerez, details inspired by all of you fantastic people designing tracks!!

Why didn't i come up with filling the river in?

Maybe because it'll create a resevoir, flooding the northen half of the map?

Wow, Panzer... you decided to alter the flow of the river in the sense that it now flows underground! It might have been easier (and cheaper, too) to build a new, circuit-specific bridge. I would have allowed that!

By the way: the second design is supposed to be a 90s circuit, not a 70s. I don't know whether you want to change your design, knowing this?
