But, does someone know more about the relationship between the Maserati race department, Maserati Corse, and Swiss Team? Were cars like the racing Quattroporte and the GranTurismo GT3 commissioned by Maserati? Was Maserati Corse involved in the development work, or at least some of it? |

Is it just me or does it seem that Reiter engineering is moving away from GT3, since the huracan GT3 was presented it just seems Reiter wants to focus on their KTM X-bow GT4.

He got left out by Lamborghini and the Camaro didnt do very well so its probably just that he doesnt have manufacturer support that he is less involved in GT3. You can still buy a GT3 Gallardo from him if you want.

There's one in New Zealand but its owner is in the hospital at the moment after a crash in a different car (get well soon Inky) and going by Tomas Enges Facebook there's a car competing in Thailand. There's at least one car owned by MSport here in Australia but that got shelved for a Rex Gallardo. Reiter probably have another car or two so that's all there is AFAIK and the Thai car sounds like it's the only car racing at the moment. |

IMSA should do something to attract Honda, Audi and Mercedes factory teams.

Great looking car!
Hope HPD decides to run at least 2 cars in both PWC and IMSA next year. |

Yet another "what's the point of GTE" car then, looks like it will predominantly be run by works-backed teams.

I think its odds on that Realtime will run two cars for Pete and Ryan Eversley in PWC, the IMSA programme on the other hand is quite an unknown factor. Hopefully the presence of Lexus in GTD pushes Acura to race there too.

GTE? They could do like BMW and build an Überwaiverwagen.

The NSX might have a hybrid-less type R version. The transmission isn't the same (6 vs 9 gears), but it's not changed in it's position? I wonder what it'd take for some gt3 cars to be in gte? Cars like the McLaren and AMG don't seem far away from being eligible.

Interesting to watch the Nismo/RLM coverage of the Super Gt this weekend, Tenther himself San Collins was adamant that the RC F will be replaced by Toyota for 2017, by that LC 500 that's be going round the Super GT thread.
I actually like the RC F but would rather see them bring something new if it means being competitive Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

As I've said elsewhere.
It will be the LC500 next year. That's why Lexus' GTD programme got pushed back. |

If Toyota are pushing the LC500 as their new GT3 car, they should have axed the RC-F program while they're at it!

Wish the Swiss Team Maserati Gran Turismo GT3 was out on the race track instead of collecting dust in some garage....

I'd rather not have a replacement for the RC F. I think the car is coming good judging from the latest race in the VLN. I do want the LC to race, but I rather have it in GTE and GT500. Leave the RC F to GT3 and then run the LC in GTE. I think the LC F may have the turbo v8 engine. That may be a better decision anyway seeing the turbo trend in the class.
