Yeah nah it's easier to just take the **** out of them mate and then when they finally roll over and die it will be a non issue as the series is just burgeoning with teams who have money to spend and international motorsport connections

More likely that the new shareholders will just become shareholders in the existing company than starting afresh with a new one. If a new company is formed then every contract needs to be redone, which may provide an out for any unhappy campers. Also a company with no trading history will have a lower credit rating. Based on reported losses incurred, may also be some handy tax losses sitting in the existing company, although these may have already been used to offset profits in other parts of the Walkinshaw empire.

Either way, documentation and detail to be done and getting the logo agreed and in place is one of the early items. |

Having worked fro three big Australian companys, yes one of the biggest, If you didnt set up like this , to transfer funds, reduce tax , etc, you would be very silly cheers |

About WAU, is Courtney getting a new car?
James has struggled with both of the repaired chassis (the Tander car and his own repaired car) IIRC, it seems like something is not right, you'd think they'd bring on a fresh uncrashed bodyshell? |

This has probably been spoken about before, but does this Tickford announcement/renaming increase the chances or even open the possibilities of there being a Mustang on the grid? Or is it status quo?

Still requires Ford to give the approval to use it, and I don't think a name change is going to increase (or decrease) the liklihood of Ford's decision making in allowing or not allowing a Mustang body shape to be used. |

New qualifying format to debut in 2018
New format to debut on the shorter tracks (WA & Tas) will be 3 short sessions based on practise times, extra tyres will be provided |

Yes an excellent idea. You could say F1/MotoGP have been "roadtesting" this format for a while and it really does seem to retain entertainment whilst being more practical than the current format

So wouldn't 26 cars be considered more entertaining than, say, 16, or maybe 10?
What tracks were the 2 day formats being envisaged for? |
