That crash cracked the monocouqe, it was that bad. So would an on board camera display the picture?

According http://www.grandprix.com/ns/ns21517.html Prodrive plans to enter F1 in 2010 and adopt the name Aston Martin in 2012. The same article states that their sportscar program will contine.

It seems the sportscar program has replaced the WRC effort, rather than competing with any F1 program.

If they do go F-1, I have a feeling that the Sportscar program that continues will probably be GT's only. That is where the customer base is and the F-1 program would make the prototype program redundant in an advertising sense. F-1 is a mistake in my opinion, but best of luck to them either way!

Still, manufacturers have enough funds to run such efforts simultaneously. Not even mentioning Toyota's NASCAR efforts.... |

Now Aston confirms they will have 3 cars "following a successful rebuilding operation".
So which wreck was rebuilt, the Enge or Verstappen car? So i presume the 3 Astons are: one new, one new but rebuilt and one old Charouz car. Anybody has a clue which chassi will be which car? |

Maybe it means using the '08 chassis to rebuild the Verstappen car?

Interesting to read what Murphy's odds are for the Aston Martin trio at Le Sarthe. Especially the 007 car.

It looks as if Aston has changed the front fenders for Le Mans to a soft edge rather that the hard edge with diveplanes usually used.

Yeah it looks like they kept the Lola style inter-changable front fenders. Sound move, makes switching between high, medium and low downforce setups easy.
