There are plenty of 'way younger' drivers on the grid who's results are no better...

He's only lost 6kg, that won't make a great deal of difference. Ash looked a lot more conservative in that race, he will have lost 18kg, he could be a formidable threat to the 5 cars in front of him on the grid.

5th to 2nd in R1. It doesn't need to make a great deal of difference.
Cammish is also carrying more ballast now so the swing in weight is more than 6kg.

Would it be anyone other than Henry who replaces him though? Who I'm not sure races all that much. (TCT and a few TCR enduros?)

First on merit, he also got 3rd on the wet/dry race at Brands in 2018.

And yeah I reckon Turks will win this one, shame Ingram doesn't seem to have the pace to challenge them so far.

Just because one has gained 6kg and the other has lost 6kg, it doesn't add upto a 12kg difference. Cammishes car will be no worse off for 6kg and Turkingtons will be no better off for losing 6kg.

Sorry for a slight offtop but listening to Andrew Jordan claiming he's not missing BTCC at all I can't help but wonder is it really how he feels or he's just having a 'fake it until you make it' attitude.

The BTCC isn't the be all and end all. I think it's perfectly reasonable for somebody to not want to race in a part-year and save their money for a future, longer campaign. I also think it's perfectly reasonable for somebody to enjoy other racing than the BTCC. Jordan has always raced other stuff- rallycross, historics (with their own team) and enjoys it all, plus with less pressure, why wouldn't he enjoy it? Especially in a year like this.

I assume it's a lack of marshalls that are causing these overly long safety car periods?

Another lengthy safety car period. A product of social distancing measures? No criticism of Marshals.

edit-- great minds think alike.

What a terrible set of results for the FK8.

The Ford's look very good this weekend.

Thought that was a great race

Just doesn't look like Ingram has the pace to beat Turkington this year.

Distaster for Cammish, quite a shame, actually his pace with full weight onboard was impressive.
And Infiniti is on the podium, Sutton's car looked way more stable than yesterday so probably they mastered some setup issues.

But hasn't been able to match Turks in any of the races so far, annoyingly!

Turkington and Cammish are both very great drivers, but honestly (imo) one's very boring and the other very arrogant and it does look like it'll those two fighting for the title all year.
